Do we have greatness all wrong?

1 min

We’re taught that greatness is defined by our status, achievements, and the amount of recognition we receive. But Jesus had a different idea. He exemplified and taught others that greatness was beneath the surface. That true greatness is defined by the content of our character, hearts, and willingness to serve others.

What does it mean to be great? We spend so much of our lives chasing greatness—trying to be successful, admired, or the best at what we do. But does that kind of greatness ever truly satisfy? Jesus showed us a different way. He didn’t seek status or power. Instead, he measured greatness by love, humility, and sacrifice. He cared for the overlooked, served those in need, and willingly put others before himself. He showed us that the greatest thing we can be is a humble servant—willing to give, to sacrifice, and to lift others up.
What if we pursued that kind of greatness? What if we measured our lives by how we care for others rather than what we achieve? In this video, we explore what true greatness looks like—and why it might just change everything.
