We’re people, like you. The past few years, especially, have affected each and every one of us. We’ve felt alone. We’ve felt trapped and afraid. We’ve lost loved ones. What in Jesus’ teachings could possibly make any of that feel better? What could he have possibly said that would bring comfort or hope? The truth is, when his dearest friends lost someone they loved, he didn’t say anything. He wept. Sometimes, just being there and grieving with someone is all we can do. And sometimes, the shortest verses bring the greatest comfort.
Why did Jesus cry?
